The black stars of Ghana were held to a 2-2 draw by Benin in their group F opener of the on going Africa Cup of nations in Egypt.
The Ghanaians came from an early goal down to lead 2-1 before the break, with goals from Andrew Ayew and Jordan Ayew. However, John Boye’s early second yellow card of the night gave Benin a man advantage and they equalized. The black stars will play Cameroon on Saturday at 5pm in their second group game. Meanwhile Cameroon earlier on in the day beat Guinea-Bissau 2-0 in the other match of group F.
