Ghanaian winger Latif Blessing is confident of victory ahead of Los Angeles FC clash with New York Red Bulls in the Major League Soccer.
The former Ghana Premier League MVP has been sensational for the MLS expansion side after joining from Sporting Kansas City, scoring five goals already as the club lies second in the Western Conference.
LAFC suffered their heaving defeat in the MLS a fortnight ago against Minnesota United on the road and ahead of their trip to New York, the former Liberty Professionals player has called on his teammates to look beyond the defeat.
“It’s a game, so just forget. We just continue our game. We have more games to play, so we have to forget that. I have to put in energy. The coach just believes in me. When I am selected to play, I have to put everything I have into playing,” he told the club’s website.
LAFC are six points behind FC Dallas in the West Conference and a win will see them close the gap on the leaders.
